Lucid Eye Plot Out The Epic Of Gilgamesh With New Preview

Lucid Eye are no stranger to epic tales and adventures from folklore and legend when it comes to the miniatures they sculpt. We've seen the Jim Fitzpatrick collection already, which explores Irish myth and legend and the Ziggurat collection brings a lot of Bronze Age stories to the tabletop. A new adventure awaits, diving deep into the Epic of Gilgamesh.

Enkidu & Gilgamesh // Lucid Eye Publishing

The new miniatures previewed over on Facebook are for Gilgamesh and his rival-turned-companion and friend, Enkidu. As always, the miniatures from Lucid Eye are top notch and the detail they manage to get into their sculpts is superb. If you're looking for the origin of the hero's journey, then you can't go too far wrong when it comes to the old Mesopotamian story.

Enkidu was created by the gods to stop Gilgamesh from oppressing the people of Uruk but once Gilgamesh bested Enkidu in a contest of strength, they became firm friends and companions. You could plot out some fun adventures with the pair as they hunt down the Humbaba within the Cedar Forest or perhaps best the Bull of Heaven.

Here's hoping that Lucid Eye continue to expand and develop this range with a few more miniatures for those seeking a different type of Fantasy tabletop adventure.
