Lucid Eye Preview Next Jim FitzPatrick Character, Balor!

Lucid Eye is continuing their work alongside Jim FitzPatrick to bring more of his artwork to life on the tabletop. The next big character is going to be Balor Of The Evil Eye!
As the leader of the Fomorians in Irish Mythology, he is the personification of blight and drought and brings death and destruction with him wherever he steps. The artwork for him is, as you might have already guessed, superb, and I can't wait to see what Lucid Eye do with the sculpt.
Whilst I know they are not connected I love the idea of using their models from this range in games of The Elf King as big stand out characters within the narrative.

don’t you just love a bit of synchronicity, i’m reading Slaine at the moment so i’m loving this.
the art is fantastic and i’m as excited as Ben is to see the sculpt. despite being norse and celtic respectively the Jim fitzpatrick sculpts marry up beautifully with the Elf King.
also got my Elf King pre order at the weekend 🙂
