Lucid Eye has introduced the villains of Toon Realms, their new range of Fantasy miniatures that look perfect for those looking for a more whimsical Fantasy adventure on the tabletop.

Lord Rascal The Necromancer - Lucid Eye

They are led by the nefarious Lord Rascal The Necromancer who has been summoning forth creatures from the beyond to do his bidding down in his dungeon. He has been awakening spirits and more with the likes of his Skeleton Warriors...

...and Ghostly Wraiths. I am reminded of some superb Saturday morning cartoons that we used to watch as kids, where a band of heroic adventurers tried to thwart the schemes of some evil bad guy each episode.

I would love to see how these models look once they have got some paint on them. They clearly deserve a proper poppy colour scheme to go along with their overall design. It seems like they are all one piece miniatures as well which makes them good for younger (and more impatient) hobbyists.

FitzPatrick's Lugh

The newest miniature in the Jim FitzPatrick collection is going to be Lugh LamhFada.

Lugh LamhFada - Lucid Eye

Lugh is another of the Gods from Celtic/Irish mythology and nearly always appears as a youthful warrior. He was a God of art, crafts, oaths, truths and laws. Some interpret him as a God of Storms whilst others see him as a Sun God.

He seems utterly awesome and comes armed with deadly weapons like his magical and fiery spear, a sling stone and his magic sword known as Fragarach (The Answerer). I think I could see myself enjoying painting this fellow, especially with that pale almost moonlit skin.

What do you think?
