Blacksmith Miniatures make some exquisite pieces for painters to have a go at. These models are not only sculpted wonderfully but are packed with character and would look handsome on any hobbyists shelf of painted miniatures. See what you think of their latest project which is Mahé the Sailor...

I love the comic feel of this sculpt with the bits of nautical equipment strapped to his belt and the Pelican resting quite happily on his head. I think they've done another superb job here and the fact that he comes in so few pieces means he shouldn't be hard to get ready for painting either.

While he probably has no use on the tabletop for gaming purposes it would be a nice miniature for any collector I reckon.
