Mantic Games Talk Organised Play & More For Halo: Flashpoint
March 19, 2025 by brennon
Mantic Games put out some new information on what's planned for Halo: Flashpoint when it comes to organised play AND where they are going to be going when it comes to show specials throughout 2025. There is plenty of Halo goodness on the way for fans of Spartans and finishing the fight...
Organised Play Paint & Take // Halo: Flashpoint
First up is going to be a kit that will be helpful for those diving in to start playing the game in clubs and stores as well as those eager to give the game a go. For example, there is going to be this awesome Paint & Take kit which you can get which comes with a bunch of Spartan miniatures for you to paint up in-store plus a fun little background for you to take some snaps of your Spartans and share them online.
For those who want to go that little bit further and dive into the competitive side of things, there will be a proper Organised Play kit which comes with scenarios tailored to tournaments, new map layouts, plus prizes for those in the top eight and the top three. The big prize is Team Wolf which will be the grand prize for someone of Master Chief-level skill!
Organised Play Pack // Halo: Flashpoint
There are enough bits in here for running a proper thirty-two-player tournament which is great to see for those getting properly into Halo: Flashpoint. More packs are coming for stores including a bunch of Store Play packs which will come with foil cards, badges for your service record and more.
Team Wolf (pictured above) is one of the MasterCraft Resin sets for Halo: Flashpoint which comes with highly-detailed miniatures. They are equipped for your scenario-based games like Capture The Flag, Oddball and Powercell. A great opportunity for you to get your hands on something special.
You can find out more about these Organised Play plans HERE on the Mantic Games blog.
2025 Show Specials!
As well as the Organised Play offerings, there are also some Show Special Miniatures that you'll be able to get whenever Mantic attend an event like UK Games Expo or AdeptiCon.
Fireteam Phoenix // Halo: Flashpoint
Fireteam Phoenix takes the original four Spartans and gives them new action poses in the same Mantic MasterCraft Resin. A great set for those who want to add some more dynamic miniatures to their collection for Flashpoint.
Some folks aren't able to get to shows and Mantic won't be leaving those people behind. So, they will go up on the Mantic Games webstore at the same time for the likes of AdeptiCon and Salute so you can scoop them up. The future is looking bright for Halo: Flashpoint and there's plenty more on the way from Mantic as the team head deeper into 2025 with the rest of us.
Are you going to be trying to earn those new Spartans?

I hope Mantic can keep the enthusiasm rolling for this Halo game, since it’s built on the solid bones of Deadzone. I do wonder if it has long-term legs though, as there isn’t a particularly deep amount of lore going on in Halo, and these last few years have seen a lot of flavor-of-the-month minis games get a lot of press then just kinda fade away.
There’s plenty of items they haven’t included in the game thus far that we can expect. Banished Forces (Grunts, Jackals, Hunters, Brutes) Covenant Forces (same as above, could have some special rule to allow them to work with UNSC) ODST UNSC Marines Forerunner Forces Flood Forms Infection Game Mode Official Big Team Battle Other Armor Cores from Infinite (Tenrai is my particular hope) Other iconic characters (Sgt Johnson, Sgt Forge, Arbiter, Jerome-092) If they keep at the rate of quarterly add-ons to the game (meaning new models, not just terrain or accessories), they’ll be fine for a long while. I wish they would keep the miniatures off the bases like they did with Master chief. The cheaper plastic material they used for the minis in the Spartan Edition warped too much to the point that I had to clip off the bases and rebase everything. Seeing the alternate sculpts with some base detail gives me hope that they’ll do this in the future so we’ll see.
I found any warping on the PVC, particularly getting the bases perfectly straight and figures stood upright, was easily fixed with a quick dunk in hot water and hold in shape under cold water. Holding the hot figure on the bottom of the sink was great to get the bases flat.
