Games Workshop is back to releasing more goodness for the Mortal Realms and Age Of Sigmar. We start with the word that they're going to be re-releasing a bunch of the previously exclusive heroes from a range of starter sets for use by their respective armies.

Warlock Bombardier - Age Of Sigmar

You will remember quite a few of these different models from the various double army sets that were created by Games Workshop to coincide with new Battletomes and the like. Above you've got the Warlock Bombardier who is looking rather cool indeed. That weapon is destined to explode in his hands. Additionally, you'll find this great list of releases popping up this weekend...

Arch-Revenant

Arch-Revenant - Age Of Sigmar

So, now you have all manner of new champions that you can throw into the mix during your games of Age Of Sigmar and you could also delve in and include them alongside your warbands from Warcry too. I really like the Ogor Tyrant which works as a nice evolution of the Ogres from Warhammer Fantasy and the Arch-Revenant is another cool glimpse into the world of the Sylvaneth. I think it would be amazing to paint up all these heroes but especially this fellow.

Warcry Warband Cards

Talking of Warcry, there will also be a bunch of new Warband Cards which you can use to build warbands which don't follow the course of the Chaos gods.

This new selection introduces the Seraphon, Sylvaneth, Sacrosanct Chamber Stormcast Eternals, Nurgle Rotbringers, Nurgle Daemons, Hedonites of Slaanesh, Khorne Bloodbound and Khorne Daemons. I would imagine they are going to fly off their shelves pretty quickly so if you want to snap them up, I'd be ready on Saturday morning.

Mighty Monsters

You will also be able to pick up some new monsters from Games Workshop for not only your Chaos armies but also the wastes where your warbands are clashing. Perhaps you'll end up hunting one of these creatures but they could also be tamed to fight alongside you too!

Fomoroid Crusher - Warcry

Above you can see one of the alternatives builds for the Fomoroid Crusher which is a mighty new creature that brings together echoes of the Old World and ideas from the Mortal Realms too. I really like the different monsters and warbands that we've been seeing created for Warcry and by extension, games like Warhammer Underworlds too. I think it is allowing Games Workshop to show off more of the shadowy corners of the Mortal Realms and the wild creatures that exist within it.

We also have the release of the Mindstealer Sphiranx.

Mindstealer Sphiranx - Warcry

I'm sure this will be another of those marmite models for the Age Of Sigmar range but I think it looks brilliant. One of the things which I'm excited about when I see these models is how they're going to pop up in Soulbound, the roleplaying game from Cubicle 7. I love the idea of a group of heroes coming up against beasts like this.
