Send Out The Mounted Hetman & More For Corvus Belli’s Warcrow
May 14, 2025 by brennon
Corvus Belli has some great new Warcrow miniatures coming out in the month of June. There are some neat new options for the Hegemony of Embersig, the Sÿenann Elves and more as part of their new Fantasy wargame.
Mounted Hetman // Warcrow
We lead with the Mounted Hetman, who is able to add some much-needed mobility to your Hegemony force and offer boosts to your nearby troops, keeping them steady when under pressure. When you slot the Mounted Hetman in alongside the Black Angels, you will be able to enhance them and break the enemy lines in a charge.
The miniature looks great with a steadfast and resolute leader mounted on the back of a very powerful charger. The pose looks great with just enough dynamism to make it feel appropriate for a skirmish game like Warcrow.
Wild Elven Officers
If you'd prefer to side with the Sÿenann, then you can also get your hands on a set of Officers for the Elves of Warcrow.
Sÿenann Officers // Warcrow
A gorgeous set of two miniatures for use amongst the other Sÿenann. Armed with their curved blades, which mimic the natural feel of their people, they are posed as if in the heart of the action, leaping into the fray to take down any interlopers.
They can use Coordinated Advance to redirect allies to where they are needed most and Orders from the Rear, which reinforces the morale and defence of your force at key moments. Would you go for the green look as Corvus Belli has here, or perhaps go for an Autumnal look?
Unleash The Hunters
If you'd like to bolster the ranks of your Northern Tribes, then you can also pick up a pack of Orc Hunters in June.
Orc Hunters // Warcrow
The first warriors to answer the call, this versatile and affordable set of basic troops can be added to your army to build up the simple need for a bit of brute force. They are relentlessly offensive and can carve open holes in the enemy ranks whilst also being able to counterattack effectively too. Depending on which character you combine them with from the Northern Tribes, you could end up turning them into a lethal shock unit.
Again, the Northern Tribes are brilliant looking and have that feel of Warcraft Orcs about them, which is always cool to see. Again, Warcrow continues to impress with their dynamic and interesting miniatures.

That horse reminds me of Marshall Bravestarr. No, I don’t know why. XD 30/30
Looks like the horse is leaning to one side, but the other sculpts are pretty good and remind me of Circle Orboros from Hordes… maybe it’s the paint scheme.
Don’t know enough about the gameplay, but it looks interesting. Having had issues with corvus belli assembly of metals I’ve been avoiding their games, but I get a feeling these are plastics.
I was assuming the horse was leaning into a corner or something, which adds some dynamism to the rider firing her gun (although I think I’d prefer the horse leaning even further to accentuate this). I’m still not sure what I think of the Warcrow style. Yes, they’re expertly sculpted and painted. Just not sure it is for me.
I’m not really a fan of orcs, but they look much better than the crap GW churn out… there stuff is cartoonish.
