North Star Military Figures has started taking pre-orders for the new Goblin Slaves for use in Osprey Games’ Fantasy wargame, Oathmark: Battles Of The Lost Age.

As well as the new plastic miniatures (which we looked at earlier in the week), North Star has also worked on two new sets of characters that can be used to lead your armies on the tabletop.

Goblin King Wizard & Musician II // Oathmark

The first of the sets (above) is a new set of metal leaders for your Goblin armies. The set comes with a fantastic new King miniature alongside a Wizard and Musician.

Each of the three miniatures gives you some more awesome options for creating fun warbands and I continue to like the more Tolkienesque take that the sculptors take with the range. That new Goblin King has got some awesome Bolg vibes going on for something Hobbity!

The next of the sets offer up a new set of Champions, perhaps a little more lightly armoured, that could be introduced into your games.

Goblin Champions II // Oathmark

Again, the theme is based on the new Goblin Slaves in plastic. So, you have three very angry-looking Goblins who are lashing and goading their underlings forward into battle. Keeping with the theme of The Hobbit, I could imagine these being the denizens of Goblin Town.

All of these miniatures are available to pre-order right now and use as part of a full-on Goblin army OR as allies for a more varied force.
