New Age Of Reason Range Coming Soon From Wargames Atlantic
April 22, 2025 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic are moving into another era of history soon with the Age of Reason. This new collection will start with two sets of plastic miniatures that focus on the American Revolutionary War.
Minutemen - Art // Wargames Atlantic
Both sets of miniatures have been sculpted by Rob Macfarlane and Peter Dennis has once again done the illustrations for the boxes. Both kits will allow you to dive into a couple of notable battles, the Battles of Lexington and Concord (April 19th, 1775) and the Battle of Bunker Hill (June 17th, 1775).
Minutemen - Sprue // Wargames Atlantic
The initial set, seen above, features the Minutemen, the colonial militia that banded together to oppose the British. There are going to be thirty miniatures in the set that can be assembled in firing/loading or advancing poses. You will also get multiple musket types and a diverse selection of heads, as you'd expect from Wargames Atlantic.
The second set is the 5th Regiment of Foot Grenadiers, who introduce the other side of the conflict.

This set of figures would have taken place in the battles listed above. Again, there will be thirty figures in the set allowing you to build the Grenadiers skirmishing with their Brown Bess muskets.

Both miniature sets have been tooled and are fairly close to being ready to go. The pre-orders for these miniatures will go live on Friday, 2nd May. It's superb that we're seeing Wargames Atlantic branching out into more time periods and I'm sure they will have much more on the way for the Age of Reason and the American War of Independence.
Do you think you'll be picking up these miniatures?
