HUGE New Yoroni For Conquest & A Peaky Fish For UKGE
May 20, 2025 by brennon
Para Bellum Games is taking pre-orders for some massive new additions to the Yoroni of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and First Blood. There is a towering new Dual Kit which allows you to make a terrifying new miniature for your 35mm Fantasy army.
Genya no Yokai // Conquest
Take the leash of the Genya no Yokai and introduce this absolutely terrifying creation onto the battlefield. The Ideal Cards, which are used when playing the Yoroni, mount up when using the Genya no Yokai.
Genya no Yokai - Details // Conquest
As they keep piling up, the Genya No Yokai gets more and more dangerous, so if you can choose the right order of cards to play, you can make this a rather terrible foe for your enemy to face.
This set also makes the Dai Yokai, who is relatively chill by comparison.
Dai Yokai // Conquest
The Dai Yokia is a masterful swordsman but a monstrous one, bigger and more powerful than even the initial wave of Yoroni that we saw from Para Bellum. Any of the five Ideal Card types can be used with the Dai Yokai, allowing you to unleash the Dai Yokai in a variety of different situations. No enemy regiment is safe from the swing of his huge blade, clearing the way for the rest of your army.

Both of these miniatures are impressive feats of sculpting and I love that something so huge is still packed with movement and dynamism. You don't often see something as big as this running across the battlefield! The Dual Kit is a plastic set, so you don't have to worry about awkward pinning and praying that it won't collapse on you, crushing the rest of your miniatures.
They Fly Now...
As well as the big new Dual Kit for the Yoroni, you can also get a monstrous flying beast for The Spires.
Pteraphon // Conquest
Originally conceived as dragon slayers, they were put to shame once the Elder Dragons actually awoke. That hasn't meant that the Pteraphon has been put out to pasture. Instead, the Pteraphon is now a symbiotic "suit" for the wearer to use to fly above the battlefield and get a view of the action unfolding beneath them.
Pteraphon - Details // Conquest
They are still a terrifying weapon in their own right, made to combat dragons, and so the weaponry they can unleash is still devastating. Volleys can be unleashed from its form at softer targets in the back lines of the enemy army. Nowhere is safe from its gaze.
A Peaky Flounder!
Last but not least, Para Bellum Games also showcased their special miniature for UK Games Expo.
Peaky Flounder // Conquest
The Peaky Flounder is going to make sure you pay the price for stepping on his turf! This fellow will be available from Para Bellum Games at UK Games Expo via Booth #3-462. He will also be on their webstore over the course of the weekend from 29th May to 2nd June.
If you find one of the ten special black Peaky Flounders then you could also win a First Blood Cohort of your choice!

Peaky Flounder, I like
He a Codfather?🤔?
Round of applause all round and a big hand for the Genya no Yokai in particular!
Something fishy about that one miniature.
Genya no Yokai reads as a throwback to the Onimusha series to me (what L5R players could only see in nightmares). Peaky Flounder might be a bit of an oily sort perhaps even, I dare to say, a red herring to their usual lineup.
