Pass The Night With New Themed Warband For Bushido
May 27, 2025 by brennon
GCT Studios will be releasing a new themed warband soon, available at events and online, for use in their 35mm scale Fantasy skirmish game, Bushido. Passing The Night is a creepy new set of Samurai for you to use in your games.
Passing The Night - Art // Bushido
This boxed set contains seven thematic miniatures for you to use alongside the Prefecture of Ryu in your games. It is a 100 Rice force that is ready to play, so this could be a good time for you to dabble. The Samurai in the set are very powerful and the twist here is that they are trying to cleanse themselves of their shame, which slowly mounts over the course of a game.

If you can control the shame, then you can gain some key advantages; however, bringing shame to the wrong miniatures can be utterly disastrous and mess with your plans. It's good to have a bit of a tactical puzzle to get your head around during play.
The new miniatures look just as gorgeous as the art above and I think this is going to end up being a fun new set for folks to paint. It will be fascinating seeing how people do the bloody handprints on their robes and if people turn that approach up to eleven.

The two extra miniatures in the set (bottom half of the image) are your funeral wailers who tend to walk alongside this procession. In-game, these work as support miniatures with a mixture of different abilities which can boost your Samurai. The Ladies of Letters have two powerful Ki feats, Tears for the Dead and Spirit-Ward. Tears of the Dead can sideline powerful enemy miniatures and Spirit-Ward protects you from incoming dangers. A nice, characterful addition to this new themed warband.
All of these miniatures are going to be added to the GCT Studios' webstore soon, so keep an eye out for their release!

A lot of red and white. Easy paintjob.
