Perry Miniatures Showcase New Napoleonic Spanish Infantry!

Perry Miniatures showcased their upcoming plastic sets for their Napoleonic Spanish Infantry this week. New 28mm scale infantry is on the way for you to start including both Marching and Firing in your games of that era.

Both of the boxed sets are going to be coming out at Salute and will suit the first half of the Peninsular War which is getting a lot of extra love this year. The first box can be used to make your standard Spanish Line Infantry as well as the Provincial Militia and half a battalion of Grenadiers. There are also elements of Light Infantry included in the set as well.

Equally, the second box will come with options for making a firing line rather than a marching block. You'll be able to do the same as above with extra heads and such for making the 1st Cazadores de Barcelona and the 1st Cazadores de Cataluña.

The sets come with a bunch of different heads covering bicornes, grenadier fur caps, shakos as bonnet de police plus civilian headgear. All of this allows you to craft different poses to represent your Napoleonic Spanish in your skirmish wargames or your mass battle games.

As with all of the Perry Miniatures range, there are loads of extra options on here so that your soldiers can carry their gear around on campaign. There is also a command frame which comes with more options for making your characters.

This should give you a good idea of some of the options available to those diving into the Spanish as either allies or an army in their own right during the Peninsular War campaign. There is also another frame on the way which is connected to the Spanish which will be announced later on down the line.

All of these miniatures are going to be available for you to pick up from the Perry Miniatures folks at Salute. This will be your first opportunity to get the miniatures but they will then be available on the Perry Miniatures website the week after the event.
