The Perry’s New Spanish Guerrilla Plastic Minis & A Battle In A Box!
June 4, 2025 by brennon
Perry Miniatures has showcased more of their new figures for use in your Napoleonic battles in 28mm. The small but effective Spanish Guerrilla sprue is going to land very soon, and the team has been playing around with all manner of different kitbashing and conversion options.
Spanish Guerrilla Sprue // Perry Miniatures
The original small frame was just going to be shoved in with the Spanish Infantry, but they are now going to be available separately and as part of a special boxed set from Perry Miniatures. The frame allows you to build a small set of Guerrillas for use in your games, battling against the French during the Peninsular War and with four per sprue, it means that they should be well-suited for a skirmish game.

The team has been busy tinkering with different ways of building the kit from using the base sprue and playing around with various poses to diving in and mixing them with the Spanish Infantry set and some French Infantry too.

This allows you to make your Spanish Guerrillas with a range of kit that they could have scavenged from battles and used to supplement their stores. If you're playing games like The Silver Bayonet, this set feels like it will be absolutely perfect. Equally, for smaller-scale Napoleonic games like Chosen Men, this could be excellent for replaying some classic Sharpe episodes!
As a bonus, Perry Miniatures has also been talking about building a Battle in a Box set using these Spanish Guerrillas. The set will come with sixty-nine figures, which break down into thirty-eight Spanish (twenty Guerrillas and eighteen Line Infantry), going up against thirty-one French (Elite Companies). This should allow you to play out some fun skirmishes using a good clutch of figures per side.
The release of the Battle in a Box is going to be just around the corner, so watch out for that and the Guerrilla frame being sold separately in the near future!

I began a Spanish project for Silver Bayonet and had hopes of expanding the less supernatural side of it to a force for Sharpe Practice and similar. Yes this is relevant to my interests.
tl:dr take my money!
*looks at sprue*
Spanish Guerrilla – comes pre-decapitated! XD
The good news is so do the French! 😁
That’s one way to get a head …

I really like these lads. They actually look quite quirky and even a bit steam-punky. Would be fun to convert and use in something like Empire of the Dead.
Agreed, this kit has so much potential beyond Naps
