Wargames Atlantic has been showcasing some of the upcoming plastic sets they are planning for their 10mm Fantasy range, Classic Fantasy Battles. We got to see some of their upcoming Undead as well as their mighty Horse Lords!

Boneblades Preview // Wargames Atlantic

The first preview was for the Boneblades and their range of Undead Swordsmen. The set will come on a new half-size frame, which will feature 108+ figures featuring your command figures and casualties, plus plenty of skulls, which can be used to adorn your bases.

The Boneblades will then be expanded with more options for the Undead, including Cavalry, Spearmen, Archers, Scythemen and more. We also got to see a great piece of artwork that will adorn the boxed set, illustrated by Marco Capparoni.

Another of the factions that they are working on is a little different in that the majority of the force will be mounted. The Horselords are going to be thundering across the plains, looking to secure their lands from the long reach of the shadowy forces across the mountains.

If you're a fan of your Rohan-esque armies, then these will fit the bill. They also have a really nice Arthurian feel to them if you'd prefer to go down that route when it comes to the theme behind your army.

It's great to see so many irons in the fire for Wargames Atlantic and that there are plans for them to build and build on the Classic Fantasy Battles collection as it grows from a range of plastic sets into a full game.

With that in mind, we also got some information about their plans for a two-player box, which will launch at the end of 2025 (or early 2026). It will feature armies of Good Vs Evil and the core of those armies will be formed by the Orc Horde and Dwarven Host that Wargames Atlantic has already talked about.

These sets offer your regular infantry, cavalry, swordsmen, spearmen, bowmen and crossbowmen, so you've got everything you need to build armies out of the box. However, Classic Fantasy Battles armies can be built using a variety of different races...

"So the Good army may have a mix of Dwarven units, Horselords cavalry, Elven halberdiers, Halfling pikemen, Landsknecht Ogre mercenaries, a friendly Giant, Treemen, and a variety of others. An Evil army may have several Orc units, a Goblin swarm, Landsknecht Ogre mercenaries, an unfriendly Giant, Boneblades (Undead Swordsmen), Boneriders (Undead Cavalry), and Trolls. An army may be comprised solely of a dragon!"
