Power Rangers: Heroes Of The Grid Hits Kickstarter From Renegade!

Renegade Game Studios are on Kickstarter right now funding their new game, Power Rangers: Heroes Of The Grid. This one somewhat popped up from nowhere on me but it looks awesome!

Power Rangers Heroes Of The Grid - Renegade Game Studio

The game is a cooperative adventure on the tabletop for two to five players as you take on the role of the Power Rangers trying to defeat Rita Repulsa's evil army of monsters in Angel Grove. This is pure childhood Saturday Morning Cartoon fun here...

The Kickstarter comes with a range of pledge options with this being one of the base pledge levels you can jump in on.

As you can see it comes with a number of rather nifty looking character models for the Power Rangers and their enemies like the iconic Putty Men.

All of this can be expanded on to include loads of additional extras and of course, as is the way with Kickstarter, you can go all in!

Look at that! You even get yourself a bloomin' Megazord if you go in for one of these higher pledges or take the Add-On packages. Man, I'm starting to regret selling my fully working and practically pristine Megazord now.

Gameplay

The game focuses on you taking control and defending four different areas of Angel Grove. On each turn, Rita will send her minions to these areas to try and cause disruption and you will have to work together with your friends to get stuck in and take out these foes before they overwhelm you.

As you progress and play through your hand of cards you'll hopefully defeat enough enemies to unlock powerful Zord cards that have devastating effects as well as the epic Megazord itself.

You have to be careful however as your deck of cards is also your health! If you get too overzealous you might end up getting knocked out of the action!

Will you be taking a closer look at this game?
