Raging Heroes July crop of models have for their Heroes Infinite Patreon Queen Syl-Iriah, King Antarion and the Summer Fairies welcome you into their magical world.

This month there are eighteen STLs for your whimsical needs but don't be fooled by the title Summer Fairies of the Enchanted Forest, these are not your little Tinkerbells but a range of creatures from tiny pixies through to the massive King and Queen.

Summer Fairies Of The Enchanted Forest

As always there are some fantastically epic models that really show what they can do with the medium of 3D printing Queen Syl-Iriah, having previously had two incarnations in metal you can see not only the evolution in style but also in size. Alongside the Queen and King, the Grove Guardian is a stunningly massive miniature for your games when you need an elven mage on an owl to deal with intruders in your forest.

The mix of elves and fantasy creatures like satyrs and centaurs, all members of the Seelie Court, gives you plenty of scope for simply painting these gorgeous miniatures or your fantasy games.

Some of my favourite models are also the smallest to be found Poltimus the Pixie reminds me of a character from a game of Tunnels and Trolls I ran at school, where a friend chose to play a pixie armed with a stiletto and a variety of toxins in the worlds first guided missile. When people are worried about being the largest party members with the highest stats the smallest one to bring down the most monsters was just a joy to behold.

Alongside him is a pair of Korreds, small humanoid creatures that kill with their magical hair. I had to google it myself which shows how rarely they appear in games so it's a nice little niche miniature that you may not find in many ranges which is something that 3D printing really excels at doing, miniatures that wouldn't ordinarily be cost-effective to manufacture and hence never get made finally have a chance to make it to the tabletop.

Maniac rocking out with his axe is a surreal way of seeing a bard until you discover that it's based on one of Raging Heroes staff, Bruno, who apart from being their communication manager is also a guitar-shredding member of several metal bands. Can you tell the difference between them?

So there we have it, a delightful group of capricious fairies from Raging Heroes to enjoy their time in the sun before the court has to retire back to their hidden home as the season changes.

What do you make of these new Faeries making a name for themselves with Raging Heroes?
