New Relic Blade: Adventure Battle Game Coming This Winter

Metal King Studio have shown off the first test renders of the models that are going to be making up the forces in their Relic Blade: Adventure Battle Game which is due out towards the end of this year and the beginning of 2016. Let's find out more...
The game is going to be a tabletop battle game with the flexibility of a role-playing game. Each of your characters, like the Cleric and Questing Knight below, will make up a group of 30mm heroes that you will use to fight out adventures.
The other side in this game are the villainous minions of some dark overlord. At launch the main set will contain Three heroes and three evil Pig Barbarians. Two of these Pig Barbarians you can see below...
All of these models have come from the mind of Sean Sutter and his artwork. When you finally get the product it will come as white metal miniatures (hopefully) packed with detail. It doesn't look like this game is going through Kickstarter which is quite novel these days!
Considering the low model count for this game I am interested to see how it plays. Hopefully we'll hear more about the game and see some glimpses of gameplay in the near future.

always interesting to see a new game that works with a small model count 🙂
could be worth checking out as it’s probably a fairly small investment to try the game 🙂

That card style is really nice. It’s old-school but very much with a ‘classic’ vibe. I hope it’s the final version and not just a quick mock-up they made for a promo pic.
