The Souls Of The Deep Rise For Goblin King’s Moonstone Soon!
April 25, 2025 by brennon
As a bit of a treat for the end of the week, Goblin King Games revealed that they have more spooky miniatures coming to their 32mm scale Fantasy game, Moonstone. The Souls of the Deep are rising forth!
Souls of the Deep // Moonstone
The Souls of the Deep have risen from the inky waters off Treasure Trove. This dual faction set can be used to add to the ranks of the Dominion Pirates or the Spirits of the Shadows. As it stands, you won't have long to wait to get your hands on these, as pre-orders will be going live for them next weekend!
The first miniature we're going to look at from the set is Barnakelle.
Barnakelle // Moonstone
She is a troll with a bit of a magic trick up her sleeve. She can raise previously dead characters out of water features on the tabletop and being a troll, she's not at all adverse to giving you a good whack with that anchor that has seen better days.
Next up, we're looking at the winged form of Brigid.
Brigid // Moonstone
Why worry about whether or not you get to play with magic or gunpowder when you could have both? Brigid is the first of the Faerie Pirates from Moonstone and with her wings, she can take to the sky and the seas in order to deal a blow to your enemies.
Need a weapon when you're in a bit of a bind? Check out the miniature for Chezapeaky who looks like they've got better things to do than deal with your nonsense.

This Powdercrab can provide you with reloads, healing and I'm sure that some of the junk in that net could be useful to a pirate or two. If that fails and you annoy him enough, he will stick you with his harpoon!
Last but not least, we have a triumph in negative space with the fantastic miniature for Commodore Delahaye.

Curse your enemies as they try to hold his gaze and then blast them to the ground under a hail of pistol fire. I can't wait to see what people do with this particular miniature and how they go about painting it. You could go down the slightly zombified route or maybe try your hand at something spectral.
What do you think of these new miniatures for Moonstone?

Multi-multi-multi-award-winningest game, Moonstone?!?
Goblins?!? GOBLINS!
Commadore Delahaye Is a hell of a miniature.
he sure is and ive already broken him simply with a casual look, its got me thinking of ways to get a bit of glow or mist effect between the two halves hiding some sort of support. there is no cure for being ham fisted.
why/how it would be like worrying that you’ll break a one piece miniature assuming you pick the figure up by the head instead of the base.
I “oh wow”-ed aloud at that Commodore Delahaye fella. Bravo yers. Bravo!
