Spectre Miniatures will be expanding their range of Cosmic Horror miniatures for their spin-off to the Modern Warfare miniatures game, Spectre Operations. Some recent previews gave us a peek at what's on the horizon, hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike!

Cosmic Horror Protagonists - Spectre Miniatures

Cosmic Horror Protagonists // Spectre Miniatures

Leading the way, we have some more Cosmic Horror Protagonists who are going to be investigating what's going on in their neck of the woods. Perhaps the man on the left is a reporter who has got themselves embroiled in a story that just won't let him go again. He could also be a cop, a rookie perhaps, who is investigating a murder that feels just a little bit odd.

Alongside him, we have a lady who really brings those early 20th-century vibes to the tabletop with her choice of attire. I reckon she's a die-hard investigator who was once a spy, trying to find out the truth behind some of the mysteries she has been chasing over the years. She could also be the perfect femme fatale who has her own agenda.

When getting stuck into investigations, you might find yourself coming up against some strange foes. Spectre already has a selection of horrors available but we're also going to be seeing Ghouls coming down the pipeline (or out of the well!) to sow terror.

Cosmic Horror Ghoul - Spectre Miniatures

A great figure that would be excellent to see skulking around in the darkness, just waiting to ambush your investigators and drag them off into the darkness for some foul ritual. They might just want to snack on you. I don't know what's worse.

Last but not least, we also got the Model-T for Spectre's Cosmic Horror range. I like that we're getting a range of vehicles for the Cosmic Horror collection which helps to set the scene.

A great miniature for Cosmic Horror but I reckon there will be folks who will be getting their hands on these miniatures to throw into other games set against the backdrop of the early 20th century.

Have you been tempted to explore the Cosmic Horror range by Spectre?
