Spirits & Wretched Souls Are On The March For Bushido

GCT Studios have awoken some ghosts for the factions of Bushido. Not only is the Takashi Ancestor Spirit haunting the battlefield once more but the deadly spirits of Souta & Sloth also appear for the Cult of Yurei...
More about the Ancestor Spirit...
"Those that follow the way of Michi will often spend hours in meditation, waiting for a sign from their ancestors of the correct path they should follow or the right choice to make. In times of peril the ancestor spirits have been known to manifest in physical form. Their presence guiding the hands, minds and blades of the living, gifting them their infinite insight and knowledge gathered from their timeless vigil and granting them the courage to stay on the path. Of course this comes at a great price to the spirit for once you have left the heavens you may never return…"
...and we know that Bushido has some nice spirits and demons already so this is probably going to turn out as an epic miniature that will be really fun to paint.
The Cult of Yurei is also freaked out when it comes to the demons that saunter onto the battlefield. I love the utterly creepy look of both of them and the painting is pretty awesome too. If you're looking to take command of the dead and all kinds of other weird creatures then this could be for you faction wise.

Those are very nice.
Does anyone who reads this have a good line on minis that successfully manage transparent looks, that samurai is cool but I could see him being less cool when he becomes painted lead.
That’s just what I was thinking. 🙂 The Ancestral Spirit to be transparent miniature. Give it a wash of light blue, a drybrush and it’d look pretty good.
I think Spartan Games managed to pull the transparent look off with one of their models Blazing Sun ship IIRC.
They look cool.
