SSU Command Vehicle Gets Outfitted For DUST In 2017

The world of DUST will get itself a new vehicle at the beginning of 2017. The SSU are rocking up with a Command Vehicle which is nearly ready to go into production.
The vehicle has a decidedly more modern feel to it which is interesting. As well as that it looks suited for amphibious expeditions too when on the battlefield.
Sporting a big gun on the top as well it can handle itself when engaged by air (and land too I'd imagine).
The SSU are also the first of the factions to have their own dedicated command vehicle which is neat.

Nice to see, that axis and ssu still cooperate on the red fury/rost Tracks. The Design seems forced onto the Chassis, Why not just use one of the original sowjet Amph. Designs? The dual dshk looks comical and exposes the firer and just by the way the allies had a dedicated mobile hq for years.
Obligatory “where is my Stuff?”, although seriously they Made a hughe fuss about Stuff being delivered a month ago but true to style nothing has happened so far…
Looks like it’d make for a good alternative Chimera for an amphibious landing force themed Imperial Guard army.

It looks like the hull of a Ford GPA Sea Jeep with tracks and built up crew compartment.

It should really be an Allied vehicle because I think the Soviets wouldn’t use a lend-lease one as the basis of vehicle of their own. But maybe they copied it.
The SSU is known worldwide for stealing design ideas and calling it their own.
I don’t know what it is, but something about its proportions almost make it look kinda chibi.
Dust is a hard drug mate!
