Temporal Travellers & New Pulp Villains From Crooked Dice!
June 18, 2025 by brennon
Crooked Dice has added some new miniatures to their webstore, both in metal and as part of their digital collection over on MyMiniFactory. We start with a couple of Temporal Travellers who could find themselves embroiled in a few Sci-Fi hijinks in games like 7TV.
Temporal Travellers // Crooked Dice
You can now get your hands on Temporal Traveller 8 and Temporal Traveller 9 over on their webstore. Whilst you hide behind the sofa as some alien menace strikes, these fellows are going to be keeping Earth safe and finding alternative methods of stopping the end of the world for the billionth time.
These miniatures are great and if you've ever wanted to pick up one of these time travellers, you will find quite a few of their past lives on there for you to choose from. Your favourite time traveller will be in the mix there somewhere.
New Digital Options
As well as some new metal miniatures, you can also get some STL Files for a range of new villains for use in your Pulp Sci-Fi games and beyond over on MyMiniFactory.
Otherworldly Invader // Crooked Dice
You could start with the Otherworldly Invader, for example, who has floated into the fighting, using his massive brain to control his troops. I like the idea that he is so heavily shielded that you need to take down his troops before you can get to him.
Going down the Fantasy/Sci-Fi route, you can also get your hands on the excellent Sinister Mystic.
Sinister Mystic // Crooked Dice
He is probably about to start a ritual which will unleash some terrible foe on the tabletop. He is covered in all manner of eldritch icons and that dagger has probably been snatched from the Realm of Doy'gh'ranth'ia (totally a real place) and is now about to tear apart spacetime.
If you want to grab your whip and hat and battle to secure an artefact from the heart of an ancient ruin, then you can get the Despotic Dictator to race against.

If the fighting is taking place on the rainy streets of Chicago rather than in the depths of a pyramid, then you might instead want to get your hands on the Underworld Boss. He seems like someone that a group of hardboiled cops need to deal with, or perhaps a caped crusader?

Last but not least, you can also get digital versions of the Wild Warriors as STL Files if you'd prefer to print off your own miniatures at home. You can get both of the key characters and their faithful, roaring companion.
Wild Warrior A // Crooked Dice
Wild Warrior B // Crooked Dice
Great Panther // Crooked Dice
If you'd prefer to get your miniatures in metal, then you can get this set of Warriors of the Wild from the Crooked Dice webstore as well. This means you have a couple of options when it comes to how you pick up your newest Crooked Dice miniatures.
What do you make of the new offerings?

Arguably the two most underserved of the Temporal Travelers, especially the fellow in the green coat. In the TV movie he was meant to be wearing a Wild Bill Hickok costume (minus the had) that he found in a hospital locker room — maybe the miniature could find its way into Dead Man’s Hand?
