Give that a watch and see what you think of the mechanics. If that did the trick, the new boxed set for the Second Edition is on its way with plenty of plastic miniatures to get you started alongside the new rules.

New Shield Decals
In addition to the new plastic set coming out, Wargames Atlantic are also helping out those adverse to the idea of painting shield designs with a set of Waterslide Decals for The Barons' War and beyond.

The Medieval set comes with thirty-six designs for you to choose from, which fit nicely on the plastic shields that you'll get amongst both the infantry and cavalry range. Included in the set are some prominent designs for the likes of William Marshall, Robert FitzWalter, Robert d’Vere and Guillaume II de Barres.
Wargames Atlantic will also be producing some Viking/Dark Age designs plus a range of Late Roman options for use on their plastic miniatures.
