TTCombat this week announced a new game for the Dropzone universe. Striketeam Commander is going to be a 32mm wargame popping up in the near future. It's still in development BUT things are looking good for fans of Sci-Fi skirmish wargames.

Striketeam Commander - TTCombat

Striketeam Commander // TTCombat

This was the first of the extra games in the Dropzone universe that was conceived and it looks like we're going to be seeing it become a reality either next year or the year after. The folks at TTCombat know that folks really want this game but it's still going to be a little while. No active development has gone into Striketeam Commander beyond a series of collector's edition miniatures that popped up this week as well.

Striketeam Commander Miniatures

As mentioned above, yes, there are some awesome miniatures for you to snap up. These are going to be available for a limited time but give you an idea of the direction that TTCombat might be going when the game finally lands.

Each of these miniatures can be picked up from the TTCombat Webstore and used as a little mini painting project as you wait for Striketeam Commander. It's really fascinating getting such a close look at some of the different troops that fight on the battlefield in Dropzone Commander. We've seen them in 10mm for so long but this takes things to the next level.

Resistance Fighter - TTCombat

It's really fascinating seeing the Resistance for example and I think a lot of folks are going to be won over by them. Also, those Shaltari are looking epic! This is a surefire way to get people excited for what's coming down the pipeline from TTCombat. Make sure to check out the store to get your hands on these miniatures HERE.

Project "Hunter"

But that wasn't all. TTCombat also mentioned that they have another game in development.

Project Hunter - TTCombat

I'm sensing that Project Hunter might be a game about hunting massive beasts whilst in a big mech. The artwork is giving off those vibes at least. That could be a lot of fun and get fans of Pacific Rim and the like interested I reckon.

What do you make of the teasers and miniatures from TTCombat?
