Underhive Ferrymen & Fallen Join The Cast Of Necromunda
March 18, 2025 by brennon
A whole host of dramatis personae are going to be joining the cast of Games Workshop's grimdark skirmish game, Necromunda. We start with a couple of new Abyssal Ferrymen who are going to be bringing Gangers deep into the heart of Hive Secundus.
Hagthor Jarlun & Aster Felsturn // Necromunda
Bringing Necromunda gangs deep into the heart of Hive Secundus with the threat of the Brood Scum and the Malstrain Genestealers is no easy task and so this pair have certainly made a name for themselves during their years of service.
Hagthor Jarlun // Necromunda
Hagthor is one of the Ironhead Squats who stumbled into a partnership with Aster during an expedition into Hive Secundus. He was impressed by her survival spirit as she battled off a dozen Brood Scum with nothing but a wrench.
Aster Felsturn // Necromunda
Talking of Aster, she is eager to take on risky contracts and her willingness to throw herself into the firing line makes them a good pairing. It means that they have also earned respect as Ferrymen. A nice set that gives more storylines for you to explore within the current narrative being played out in Hive Secundus.
A Fallen Brute
Following on from those Ferrymen, we have a fallen brute by the name of Vandoth.
Vandoth The Fallen // Necromunda
Vandoth is a mountain of a man. He was a former bodyguard of House Helmawr but others say that he's a creature of Chaos bound into the form of a man! Others say that he stoops over his victims and drains their bodies of blood using his monstrous fangs. If they survive being blown apart by his boltgun, of course.
Regardless of his origin, he will fight for whoever gives him the most cash. Being a bounty hunter, he will also be helpful for gangs who want to try and track down deadly targets. Bringing them back dead or alive is very much up for discussion.
Prophet Of Redemption
Finishing things off, we also have a new miniature for those seeking a bit of faith-based solace within the Underhive. I say solace, the likelihood is that this fellow is going to burn you alive in service of The Emperor.
The Prophet of The Redemption // Necromunda
He is a mysterious preacher who emerged from the ruins of Cinderak City. He was set apart from the other preachers thanks to the banner made from the remains of a Redemptor Priest. Divinity manifest. This relic is able to send doubters to their knees and this prophet truly believes that his most powerful weapon is the fanatical devotion he shows to the Imperial Faith.
The Prophet of The Redemption - Details // Necromunda
Even aiming a gun at The Prophet comes with a high price that the shooter must pay. It'll be tough to convince yourself to blow the head off someone so wreathed in faith! You can drop him into House Cawdor gangs or as part of Lady Credo’s Rebellion. An excellent new miniature.
All of these miniatures are going to be coming out from Forge World very soon so watch this space if you want to scoop up additional named characters for your Necromunda games!

Blinking eck they’re having some fun knocking out really expensive minis I really want to buy.
And probably will.
Hagthor Jarlun & Aster Felsturn is exactly what @brennon was about with “too much details” I think. Great for display pieces but a nightmare for gaming pieces.
Aster Felsturn looks like the first Games Workshop model sculpted by Matt Groening.
The prophet looks like the looney from Monty Python at the Bridge scene. Love it!
