Gripping Beast have finalised all the different new releases that are going to be available at Salute for SAGA. We covered some of the releases before HERE but they've now updated this to include Vagn The Fearless alongside the new limited edition Revenants Warband...

A Fearless Warrior

The first of these releases to take a look at is Vagn the Fearless who joins his brothers in the Joms-Viking who were a semi-legendary band of Viking warriors that walked far and wide fighting for whoever would pay them.

Vagn The Fearless

Vagn applied to the Joms-Viking when he was just twelve and was given a chance even though normally they wouldn't have allowed anyone below the age of eighteen because of his bravery. He then grew up within the legendary group of warriors and at the Battle of Hjörungavágr refused to retreat, instead throwing his spear at the then leader Sigvaldi (which is what the pose above shows) in anger at his cowardice.

He was spared by the enemy because of his heroics and stood out as a fearless warrior. The rules for him are included in Northern Fury.

The Undead Rise

We finally got to see what was dwelling in the graves of the North as Gripping Beast also showed off the big Revenant Warband for use in SAGA.

Revenant Six Point Warband

Necromancer

The set comes with everything you need to play with this strange and horrifying looking warband including dice, battle board and rules for them and their scenario. It has been stated that the warband is very much intended for fun play down your local gaming club and not for tournament play.

I think this warband looks very impressive although I would potentially remove the Necromancer from his scenic base since it does look like he's surfing.

Shooting From Horseback

We had a look at these last time we checked out the Salute releases but Gripping Beast have released another image of their new plastic Arabic Cavalry, this time all shooting from horseback...

Plastic Arab Cavalry

Make sure to rush over to the Gripping Beast stand if you want any of this because its probably going to vanish pretty fast once the doors open.

What do you make of the Undead?
