Wargames Atlantic Tease More For Age Of Reason Range

Wargames Atlantic shared some more preview pictures of their upcoming Age of Reason range, which will arrive on their webstore soon for use during the American War of Independence.
Minutemen // Wargames Atlantic
We had previously seen the artwork (by Peter Dennis) and the sculpts by Rob Macfarlane but now we're getting a look at how the miniatures look when painted up. Both sides of the conflict have got themselves plastic miniatures to get you started with the Minutemen getting themselves organised to help repel the British.
On the other side of the fighting, we have some painted miniatures representing the 5th Regiment of Foot Grenadiers for the British forces.
5th Regiment of Foot Grenadiers // Wargames Atlantic
Whereas the Minutemen are represented as a ragtag group, a militia force that has been banded together to fight skirmishes, the Foot Grenadiers are a disciplined and well-organised force. It creates a good picture of the kind of fighting that you might end up diving into when playing out battles during the War of Independence and the Age of Reason.
As you can see, there are thirty miniatures per set which could form a good basis for the core of your force during this period. You might find that there will be some additional figures available through Atlantic Digital to use as commanders for these two forces.
Are you going to be lured into this era of warfare with these new miniatures by Wargames Atlantic?

Anyone who says GW make the best plastics hasn’t seen WGA. More excellent models.
As good as GW? That’s a stretch…
Perry plastics, Victrix plastics, WA plastics all excellent (and WA has had to come a LONG way), but GW still is the “best”.
LOL, bro how much are you being paid? GW hasn’t been the “best” since the Perry brothers started doing their own historical plastics. Frankly Dreamforge’s sculpts are the best at least as far as SciFi hard plastic wargames kits go with their only down sides being too few in print. Likewise just from sculpting, Victrix and Perry both have Games Workshop beat by at least a mile with Wargames Atlantic beating GW by at least a half mile in that department on average and 10 miles in the creativity and kit design department. Heck even Warlord arguably does better stuff… Read more »
These look REALLY good, and I don’t know who’s doing the painting but it’s helping to show off those uniforms (or lack off) to a “ooooh shiney level of “must buy some now”. Hopefully we’ll see a lot more coming out in this particular range. Plus I wonder how well they mix in with the Perry plastics (if anyone knows)?
