Wargames Atlantic’s Mounted Knights & Serjeants Charge Forth

Wargames Atlantic are now taking pre-orders for two new 28mm scale plastic sets packed with Medieval miniatures for use as part of The Barons' War and more. You can now finally get the Mounted Knights and Serjeants to bulk out your warbands.

The first set we're looking at here features twelve multi-part plastic Mounted Knights that cover the period between 1150 and 1320.

You get mounted warriors clad in chainmail and wielding a range of different weapons, including lances, swords, axes and maces, plus options for you to mix and match them with the Foot Knights that they already produce.

The set gives you twelve barded horses and you also get twenty-one unique heads that you can use to give you plenty of customisation options. The folks at Wargames Atlantic also included a set of jousting lancers with the set, so you can use them for some friendly tournaments.

The second of the plastic sets introduces the Mounted Serjeants, who I think are one of my favourite sets for The Barons' War yet.

You get twelve miniatures in this set, which introduce the backbone of Medieval cavalry. The Knights might have charged into battle and won all the glory but the Serjeants were doing all of the hard work.

They came clad in mail and padded armour and would often fight alongside the lord's retinue, protecting him in battle. They were professional soldiers and did a lot of the dirty work.

This plastic set comes with a bunch of different weapons including swords, axes, maces, spears and falchions plus two sizes of shields. You get fifteen heads in the set as well so you can do plenty of customising of your units and, much like with the Knights, you can use these alongside the Foot Serjeants set by Wargames Atlantic.
