Oddity Miniatures Pledge Themselves To A Dark Paladin

Oddity Miniatures have pledged themselves to a dark God and with that comes the blessing of evil armour and weapons. Check out the Dark Paladin below...
This Dark Paladin looks a little bit like the Templars from the Dragon Age games but with an twinge of darker evil about him. I think it's the skull on his shield and breastplate.
According to the information the arms and head are totally pose-able so you can have him in a variety of fighting poses. The one thing about the miniature I don't like is the shield. I think it looks far too bulky.
What do you think of their Paladin?
The picture sure seems dark. So much so that its hard to make out some of the details…

The detail is very nice, the chest piece especially so. I’m not struck on the pose too much though, there’s no ‘power’ in it, he looks like hes tip-toeing rather than bracing to swing. A minor thing in the overall scheme though.
