Working on a hare
What do you paint after a tortoise? A hare of course.
I’m probably going to make this fella my leader, he looks mean enough. I have removed the raised chalice from the front of his armour and been working on the fury bits. Just realised I have done the nose wrong (all black, more like a dogs nose) so I’ll have to re-do that. As yet I’m not sure how to achieve the eye colour. Suggestions?
I’m planning on painting the armour in a blue and white painted look with battle damage.
Something about this model looks very Buck O’Hare to me! Nothing wrong with that of course 🙂 What are you wanting to achieve with the visible eye?
I was just trying to get the right colour. Just yellow seems to have come out ok but it’s not really visible in the latest pictures.
P.S thanks for the tip on the manga bundle. Now I’ve started watching The seven deadly sins on Netflix.
Rabbit eyes I know often end up looking quite single-colour, it’s hard to distinguish all the component pieces, and often it’s a black or brown colour. Though I have had a couple of white rabbits that had quite pink eyes.
I do remember chatting about the manga bundle, but I think it was someone else who posted the original tip. I have heard a lot of good things about deadly sins, but I’ve not watched it yet.
Yes I am, as usual, getting confused!
