Final Touches - It's All About That Base
time to finish up the project by adding the basing, I’ll be useing some basic sand, some grass tufts & I’ve found some really nice black stones with red flecks through them that i think will work as raw RJ10-27 so really happy with them.

Can I ask how you went about fixing the sand in-place? I’ve tried various methods with my river-bank Skorza. I settled on basically mixing with PVA (even though it takes an age to dry). Then using super-glue to add a little sprinkling on top. Then once that dried, dry-brushing with ushabti bone to try and bring back some of the dulling of the sand colour that happened as it mixed with the other materials. I always use super glue, at the local pound shop we have packs that come with a very fine tip extension that lets you put just a little on the base, i then use a tooth pick to spread it out in to the corners. 🙂
I glue mine down with PVA then when dry a diluted PVA over the top.That seems to hold it in place ok for me

m the same as you @dignity, pound shop super glue everytime. A very well thought out and executed thread, and one i hope to keep referring to once i get myself sorted out as i have a few projects on hold. I have enjoyed reading through your thread, and i have picked up a few tip
