Hey everyone,

So as always still filing and cleaning models and ticking along nicely. It’s the third week of the month and I am ahead of where I needed to be.

Spent some of today working on my movement trays. I picked up some really nice themed ones from Base X War. Also got some bases for my models too. This is to give me a nice overall theme and allowing me to use them for multiple game systems.

So as always started by cleaning, washing in warm soapy water and then after they had dried alternated black then white spray for a zenith highlight.

Applied the base colours.

1. Ash Grey (AP) to the stone

2. Steel Legion Drab (GW) to the black recesses on the various skulls.

3. Matt White and Crystal Blue (AP) for the centrepiece head.

4. Dark Tone Wash (AP) everything.

5. Went back over the raised areas using the drybrush technique on the stone with the original colour. Also went over the raised areas with the base colours on the skulls, then brought them up further with a 50:50 mix of Skeleton Bone and Matt White to highlight the skulls with a final edge highlight of Matt White.

6. Applied Ammo MIG Jimenez enamel thinner to all the edges and then applied Ammo MIG Jimenez North Africa Dust modelling pigment.

7. Sealed the whole thing with Army Painter Anti Shine.

Very happy with the results so will move forward and carry this out on all the movement trays as I do them.

Have a good weekend everyone.
