I won a £20 voucher at the OTT 40K Hobby Weekend, so I used that to buy some Marders (and some American things for later on). So today I have got them ready for priming!

Also at the Hobby Weekend I was chatting with fellow German Slow Grow League participant, Gaz, about how he goes about painting his models. He mentioned he leaves the tracks off until he paints them, and while it is obvious my little brain never contemplated it, so I am going to give it a go. His models are also more lovely in real life than in his project and can’t wait to see what else he plans to do.

At the end of the weekend I also watched Gaz and Gerry play a game. It was around 50 points and it looks a nice system and now I am looking forward to playing some games with my Germans… when I get caught up!

I have also started to build the rest of my German Starter Army. I’m not going to do that for the side skirts on all the tanks, but I will do a few that look really beaten up!

Strong work buddy, loving the distressed bazooka skirts. Hope the tracks turn out to be a little easier.

when I’m painting my own the tracks stay off *whispers* the studio force is stuck on because I’m hiding it with mud say nothing.
Loving the schutzen, are you going to paint any panels as replacements?
