Of course these guys were scariest when the Grenadier and Light Infantry companies were stripped out of their parent regiments and formed into all-grenadier “battlegroups” like Fraser did at Hubbardton.

Great job on the detail, @firelock22 – especially dark-washing the white tunics and breeches. I can NEVER get that to come out right.

Thanks again @oriskany! Looking forward to getting some use from these 28mm minis, as with my rebasing ECW project also on here. Next unit of ‘hatmen’ may well be a test of the contrast paints on the small clothes..

@firelock22 – I’ve heard good things re: contrast paints and fast-painting (relatively) large INFANTRY armies.

Helped a lot doing 2 squads of Deathwing Terminators in 2 weeks! Good for getting the batch colours down
