This project started off on the whim more than anything else. Back in December 2019, I was contacted by a friend who wanted to thin out his collection of plaster terrain dating back to the 90s from The Dwarves Stonecutter if I remember the labels correctly. I will change once I find another label.

Anyway, to tell a long story short, I have recently ended a massive project where I was making foam hexes using the hex terrain tool kit and after a single night of planning, I dove straight into the project.

The other contributing factor to this decision is my growing collection of chili or SD (super deformed) minis from Super Dungeon Explore. With the background explained, lets get into the details of this massive project!

The collection from the 1st edition starter and from Ninja Division's recent master class releases. Note, this is back in December this was taken. The collection from the 1st edition starter and from Ninja Division's recent master class releases. Note, this is back in December this was taken.
Some testing to see if this could remotely work. Here are 4 of my finished heroes and some plaster pillars. I say it will work. Some testing to see if this could remotely work. Here are 4 of my finished heroes and some plaster pillars. I say it will work.
This MDF gauge is what is used to slice the hexes to their proper size. My plan is eventually to make stone walkways with grass on both sides and to do that, I need to see how tall the plaster walkways are when compared to the height of a half height hex. Close enough for my liking. Check 2.This MDF gauge is what is used to slice the hexes to their proper size. Now how does a pathway look on these hexes and with a figure on them. I say good. Now how does a pathway look on these hexes and with a figure on them. I say good.

Next is one of the opening gateways for height and width testing. I say very good.

I also have several stairs where I plan to make stands that will allow these figures to climb stairs and not topple comically back down.I also have several stairs where I plan to make stands that will allow these figures to climb stairs and not topple comically back down.
With testing done, onto the gluing. Here, I am using a brand called liquid nails; a general adhesive that so far has worked well for me.With testing done, onto the gluing. Here, I am using a brand called liquid nails; a general adhesive that so far has worked well for me.
The angle isn't great but the gateway has been started. The angle isn't great but the gateway has been started.
Now here we have floor tiles started and trimmed to shape as well as the gate. That is that. More to come tomorrow. Now here we have floor tiles started and trimmed to shape as well as the gate. That is that. More to come tomorrow.
