A Steampunk Challenge
Base
I took a few moments to work on the base for this model, thought I’d try to keep it simple. The metal base included is already shaped so I went with a base coat of Army Paint Desert Yellow, then an all over wash of AP Soft Tone. I then hit it with a heavy drybrush of Desert Yellow again and then a lighter drybrush of Vallejo Dark Sand. A little bit of dried up grass next to the large rock to finish the base off and it is ready for her to be attached (when she’s finished).
