Whilst I was doing the wood piles I couldn’t help thinking that the roofs look cool and all but they’re not 3D.
Given that I might be snowing these later this could be a complete waste of time. but I want to try it and see whether the 3D nature pays off under the snow dusting it’ll get later.
Off to the popsicle stick collection! £1 for 50 sticks, cheaper than buying from 4Ground but requires much more effort..
fat = less effort. thin = better to scale
6 fat ones per stick or 12 thin ones per stick
test a look. left flat and right supported by match
trim down the first layer so you don't have a silly lip or need to use a match which added too much height
much nicer and flatter! happy days.
