Checking the contents and getting a Phantom thrown in!

Initially I want to create a basic company for each faction using the box contents.

For the Space Marines it’ll be a standard tactical company but what Chapter??

Back in the day I never really settled on a Chapter, I toyed with Salamanders, Imperial Fists and of course Ultramarines but never achieved a uniform look. I did however in 28mm with my own Chapter, The Warp Sharks 🦈! In my head they were a doomed Chapter, decimated after being attacked by renegade marines. Now it’s time for them to rise again in tiny form!

For the Eldar it’ll be a Warhost and I know exactly where this one is going.

Ive never collected Eldar but like Ben I’ve always had a thing for Iyanden. As standard I would avoid yellow like the plague but recently I have received a set of Army Painter speed paints so I’m keen to see what they can do!

Finally it’s the Orks and where as with the previous two there is limited options here there is a bit more thought required as I need to select a clan.

Originally, like I did with the Marines I was a bit all over the shop with which clan to choose. I’d dabbled with all of them but the more I thought about it one model in particular stood out for no other reason than I just liked it. The model in question is the the Gobsmasha. It’s not particularly powerful or crazy looking but something about a weird tank with big wheels looking thing just always spoke to the Ork in me. Just so happens that these are Evil Sunz only so that sorts that issue!
