This Quars War
Quar. From the Fabulous Zombiesmith Miniatures.
For 700 years the Quar have been waging The Long War to a bloody stalemate that has wracked their world. But the balance of power is shifting, and Alykinder’s Crusade is attempting to end The Long War by conquering all the nations of the Quar.
I love these little models and their unique weirdness.
For this little collection I have;
58 Crusaders
3 Carrier Squirrels
1 Cavalry
1 Croftyran
For a total of 63 painted models so far.
In the to-do pile I have;
11 Croftyran Infantry
10 Partisans
6 Cavalry
6 Other Infantry, including 2 small creatures.
33 Figures to go.
These look so refreshingly weird and different… is that for an alternative Emu Wars in Australia? 😉

They look a bit like Anteaters to me. I have this vision for the terrain being something along the lines of The Shire from Lord of the Rings mixed with WW1 trench warfare with craters and bomb blasted trees.
Looking forward to doing sone terrain for this more than I am to painting the remaining figures.
I have always thought the terrain could be an interesting mix of stuff!

I only discovered the Quar with the Wargames Atlantic Quar plastics announcement… but they have rapidly become something of an obsession with me.
Great brush work on your Quar Hutch, you have really brought them to life. I hope to see this project continue to develop.
