After deciding on my scheme I’ve painted up my sergeant and colour bearer, I’m incredibly happy with the paint job on these guys!
I haven’t painted properly for a couple of years(I’ve been doing an ultramarines project that just involves basecoats and a wash) so this project has enabled me to test and refine my brush skills again and I’m happy with what I’ve achieved.
The colours will be getting some transfers and/or free hand but that will have to wait until I’ve decided on some insignia.
Fantastic job on those guys, i like how you’re managed to paint on the texture so they looked like stitched puppets.
I bought some years ago too and recently got some more now they’re back, i feel inspired to get them out and get some paint on them, for no other reason than they look great.
Thank you! I’ve tried to make the scheme pretty simple and then added that bit of painted texture to the canvas just to elevate them a little, I’m very happy!
You should definitely get some paint on yours, mine were sat on the shelves for years and I’m now very tempted to add more to the collection.
