the grass is static grass from Green Scenes using one of there Flockit Applicator’s
1st is a base coat of brown which once dry is coated in PVA glue then grass added
one last thing the sandbags still need a wash of Agrax

Nice painting terrain piece, but I have two suggestions to improve it.
It looks a bit too clean for a war torned and grimdark terrain. Adding pigment powders to the inside would be super fast and effective way to « dirty » the piece.
The green grass is a bit too green/lush: airbrushing sone thinned down seraphim and/or agrax would make it lot less vibrant. Also, you could drybrush parts of the grass with a desaturated Brown or something like Balor brown. Don’t drybrush the whole grass, just some spots to have « patchy grass ». Judt my two cents 🙂
