Nothing but the frog in me
Entry #1 - Planning the display base
Second time trying this post as the website logged me out when I hit submit 🙁
Cosmic Frog is a Boardgame where mile-high space frogs compete to eat the most bits of landscape (mountain, forest, desert) from the shattered remnants of planets, called shards.
In game terms, this translates to moving around and taking cardboard terrain hexagons from a neoprene mat. Players can also fight each other and steal land from each others gullets (frog vomit!).
I want to make a display base that really reflects the feel of the game, with the frogs on hexes in a rocky planetary remnant.
These hexagons come from a game called Penguin Peril that my kids have grown out of. As getting hold of 3D hexagons is pretty tricky, I’m hoping to repurpose these.
The frogs fit on them pretty neatly, so I’m going to now try and find a way to make a rocky piece of planet to incorporate these into.
