About the Project
This is my Samurai project I stated a few years ago and will be doing for a few more years to come. This is not only miniature painting but conversions, terrain, and rules. As well as some other things I am sure that I am interested as well as inspiration. I hope you will enjoy my journey into the world of Samurai Wargaming.

3 more Murakami heavy Arquebus
It has been a while since I finished a miniature and realized I need to get back to a regular painting schedule again .
Murakami bomb throwers
Why are my photos sideways I didn’t take the photos sideways?
WTF!
Still at it
I decided that I am going to base my units into 10 man units. I just started and still need to add grass tufts and shrubs.
Murakami archers
I finished these archers today go my Murakami clan . As you can see I did not give them back banners . I read that they would not have been used because it would have been a distraction or outright hindered the the back ranks.
Master and student
Happy New Year everyone these are my first two miniatures of the year and I plan on painting a lot more this year because last year was a hobby failure for me. 🥴 both these miniatures are from Wargames Illustrated but I will be using them for Test of Honour .
Best of Luck on all your feature projects 😉
Ozutsu ( Hand Cannon ) unit
This is the Ozutsu unit from Grey for Now miniatures for the game Test of Honour. The clan marking is for the Murakami clan .
these models are done of the best models I have seen. Very clean hardly any clean up and very crisp and well defined. The knot work and match/ wick are slightly exaggerated for ease of painting. Designed by Graham Davey .

Ten more Ashigaru Yari painted.
Ten more ashigaru yari painted and ten more to go .
Painting plastic heads
The next time you paint up plastics may I suggest that you paint the heads separately and then attach them look last you may like the results 😉
Starting on the last 20 Ashigaru pikemen
Starting the next 20 and that will be the last of the Ashigaru pikemen for the Murakami clan the cavalry, hand cannons, archers , and the the grenadiers !
Ten more finished and that’s 40 painted only 20 more togo
Like the title says 40 painted and I won’t lie this ten took me a bit longer than I would have liked. Hopefully the next twenty will be faster 😉
Starting in the next 10
I have started painting the next 10 of the 30 more ashigaru yari I still need to paint for the Murakami clan.
I paint the heads separately so I can paint better detail on the faces. I am a also still looking for someone that can print White on decals and that is becoming a challenge.
I’m at the halfway point 30 finished
I finished painting ten more and that makes 30. I am at the half way mark 30 more to go for the Murakami clan.
Ten more finished 😉
Well that’s ten more finished looks like this weekend is turning out to be a productive one after all 😉
Well that’s the first ten finished for Murakami 😉
Well I finished painting my first ten man squad of Ashigaru yari for the Murakami clan. I still need decals but that will have to wait.
