The Mountain finally rides!
After lots of painting yellow, The Mountain is finally completed!
I achieved this yellow using a basecoat of Citadel Averland Sunset followed by a wash of Citadel Seraphim Sepia. Clean up the wash with another coat of Citadel Averland Sunset and then a 50-50 mix of Averland Sunset and Citadel Yriel Yellow. Highlight the edges with Yriel Yellow. Each layer needs about 2-3 thin coats to achieve the vibrant color that is seen.

I spent the weekend painting a lot of yellow!The Mountain and The Hound
I really like the miniature for The Mountain and the dark iron effect I as able to achieve contrasting nicely with the rich yellow.
It has arrived!
Everything but the terrain.
