Let's play settlement dash
After escaping the vault and finding dogmeat our survivor is chased by raiders to the outskirts of a settlement. All they have to do is make it in one piece
The barricades mark the edge of the settlement 
Our heroes head towards safety as raiders come from all sides
Vault tec advertising isn't going to work on our survivor 
Sniffing out a raider dogmeat once again does damage before being ganged up on by a pair of pychos with wrenches and taken out
Diving for cover the survivor pops shots back at her pursuers
Out of nowhere the settlement survivors pop up and give covering fire but the raiders are amongst them. Shots miss but the raiders hit hard at close quarters 
Before shots can be fired the raiders close the gap. Swinging wildly our survivor misses but just like dogmeat is ganged up on and beaten down. The raiders get their revenge.

Some crates only half printed but instead of throwing them out I'm glueing them down for some wasteland scatter
Let's play escape the vault
A lone vault dweller decides to leave the vault but security have other ideas. The lone survivor starts with no equipment and he's to search crates to randomly find gear
After grabbing a 10mm pistol they head through the vault only to spot security moving in. A random event brings on an informer who spots enemy models for our hero.
We were using force lists from the awesome tales book which had three vault dwellers attacking the survivor but the list gives one a shotgun but they don't have the relevant skill on their card to use one. Thus confused us so we just went for the baton attack 
The survivor falls back but the security team keeps up the pressure 
Security start to converge on our hero so they desperately break out if combat and thanks to gaining some quick actions make a break for it
Vault security block the escape at a doorway thanks to a slide action in melee. Unfortunately one guard fires into the combat killing his comrade and leaving the door open
After escaping the vault we move onto scenario 2 where our lone wanderer finds dogmeat the hound under fire from raiders in a scrap yard. 
Out numbered and using cover the survivor shoots raiders in the back. 
Raiders dive for cover but dogmeat can easily sniff them out.
A pycho pounds our hero but dogmeat comes to the rescue
Dogmeat did most of the damage this game. The raiders had no chance. The fallout game has always looked a bit complicated with its mass of symbols and odd dice but these scenarios ease you into it. You can make the fame as complicated as you want. The random events and dangers add a nice twist to the game play an by the end of the sec scenario we had figured the rules out. I font mind a level if complexity in a game with just a few minis. It's what makes this level if skirmish game interesting. I look forward to playing more.Containers
The container units are great bits of scenery. They can turn up anywhere and are big enough to block off areas and line of sight

Some vault tec propaganda to go up around the finished vault. My 3d printer has been working overtime but the vault is finally finished. It was the reasi hot a printer in the first place so now I can try printing more minis rather than such chunky pieces 
Misprints no problem
Scatter terrain for the vault
I have a couple of misprint floor tiles but they can still be used if I use the barriers. Maybe a mole rat came through the floor
Another cracked floor tile disguised Painting up all that floor
Mechanicam grey spray works well for a base colour for the floor tiles
The diner section takes the most time
Still got the walls to paint before I start printing more
Printing continues
While I've been working on other projects my printer has been working overtime on my continuing vault build. I've concentrated on floor tiles and being methodical completing section by section 
My vault is half done for my 2 foot table. Need to paint this months printing 
Cafeteria
The rear of the vault build will be an open communal space so I looked at a cafeteria seen in some vaults. I just need to oaint the wLls and glooring a certain way and add the right furniture 
The art book to fallout 4 is a good reference book

Layout ideas
My plan is a two foot table not including the vault entrance which adds on the end.
Cafeteria section
Security office. With two entrances for room to manoeuvre in gameplay 
I decided to make the security booth a bit smaller so I have more room. Still have a lot to do
Picking a room
Today I had a walk around every vault in fallout 4 to look at what I should aim for. Im workingvto a biard just over 2 foot square with the exit being the goal. This room sits near the entrance so I'll work on this and a security booth next.
I made sure i took lots of reference pics today 
Still need to print the floor Paint scheme
I'm only painting one side of the walls representing the outer corridors. Once I've decided my key out I can choose the colours for the interior rooms such as nursery or apartment. Makes a change to paint something so poppy. My vault is still lived in so won't be so dirty
Starting the vault
I've had no problems printing any of this so far. It's all turned out fine. I want to create a 3 foot square board but I haven't planned it to much. Of course the kit is very modular. I'll paint this lot up before printing anymore
