Before I had the core set I had this model so primed it Tamiya fine grey primer and using GW paints used three different greens which I watered them down so that I could get that nice blend effect from top to bottom which I started from the bottom with the lighter green working my way up the top. When that was dried painted the odd scale here and there with a bright green to give the effect of new scale. The whole model was then washed in green. The leather straps was brown base and then using a light colour to pick out the edges.

Again using Tamiya grey primer and GW paints got these badass hunters done.

Tamiya grey primer and using Vallejo tan I did the whole model in this colour and using a dark grey GW paint for the areas I wanted the paint to look chipped off and worn and on top of that used bolt gun metal for metal shine to the chipped parts. The suspension was done in the same way but gave that more dirty look by washes to get the grime effect. Used a brown wash over the whole model to give it dirty look but more weather worn look. I used magnets to change out the weapons for game play which is a handy for each game have the different options.

Chaos Black primer and I used Vallejo black to use as a highlight on cloak and raised armour and then using grey for highlights and contrast paint for shade and even tried for first time some light effect for the saber and that was simply dry brushing on the red till I was happy with the brightness of it on the model didn’t want to be to bright and ruin the effect on the cloak and armour.

Using the Tamiya fine grey primer I’ve used for the rest of minis it’s then on to paining using GW paints and Vallejo paints and GW washes. Started with Vallejo tan and used a GW wash then dry brush a bone colour to highlight the model. The saber I used couple of blues from GW and highlighted the saber with very fine dry brush of white to get slight glow effect.

So I’m going with a tatooine theme with these Rebels so desert scheme browns and tan and khaki. Base coat of grey primer I used Tamiya fine grey then using a mix of Vallejo paints and GW paints and brown wash to get in the uniform.

Revell 1:44 scale A Wing seems to be the perfect size for the terrain and straight out the box pre painted ship looks great! So weathering and panel lines and interior painting and the ship is good to go on the battlefield.

started by doing all the panels and using GW contrast put into the lines and then with a bigger brush swept the overspill over the panels to give it the very dirty look.

there are a couple of panels which I coloured differently to give the impression of replacement and made them look like it was primed and never painted which I used orange for and then dry brush red and used grey for the paint chips and a bolt gun metal to make the shine.

This has turned up this weekend and already getting ideas on how this is going to look, absolute love this miniature going to look good on tabletop! The model is not glued yet but this was dry fitted straight out the box!

well believe it or not this is the first time using green stuff and I’m using it to make my AT ST have foot print and the look of it weight in the sand. Once it’s dried will undercoat and start paint the miniature.

now that the green stuff is dried I’m using pva glue and sand and I’m pleased to be getting the effect I want of the foot print being left.

Now the basing is done I undercoated the model with black spray paint from GW then after that sprayed Tamiya fine grey over to top and mainly spray from the top to highlight model.

With the base colours done I’ve dry brushed over the model a dark grey from GW range to get the effect I want of metal reacting to sun and age. And just a basic dry brush of the base for the time being.

with the dry brushing done and weathering I wanted it was pretty much done few details here and there and base to finish.

Tonight I’ve primed these mini in Tamiya grey fine primer and then from a distance used Tamiya fine white primer.

next I’ve used GW contrast white all over the mini which will dry off and greyish colour then tomorrow it’s dry brush the white and highlights and black contrast to put on.

Using Vallejo white I did a once over the armour that needs extra white after the contrast dried.
now that the white is on where I need it I then use the contrast black in the areas of the helmet and the clothing under the armour this looks rough but will be tidied up once on to the next step.

Did this a couple of times to get the detail I want as the white can come through a little bit but you can put as much black contrast you want, I did a couple of time as the slight white in the uniform looks like a highlight.

So now pretty much done just a few more highlights but happy with that for now then it’s paint the base and model done.
