I got some of my Deathwatch on eBay preprimed in black and I’m not sure I want to do them yet. As I have had such luck with these guys primed white using the black contrast paint.

with some silver highlights and a bit of color, these went quickly. Done in a weekend.

I get to work from home, which is nice, but my company has been piling it on, so to relax many evenings I’ve been getting back to a hobby I’ve largely ignored for about a year.

The collection part of my hobby hasn’t suffered (add to cart), but getting things painted is a whole other story.

Setting up this project is a good way to put my hobby progress “on the record” so I’ll feel an extra touch of motivation when I have a choice of sitting in front of the television with a bag of chips, or doing something that gives me that satisfaction of completion. Even if it is maybe a model at a time.

So… I’ll start here.

As many of you know painting a whole rank and file unit is daunting, so when I start a new project, I tend to start with the leaders.

Work in progress on this Watch Master.
