Slowly getting the contents of the 3rd edition starter built. Having moved due to naff circumstances. I’ve gone from having my own hobby desk to now having to work  in a 4″ x 16″ section of my computer desk which makes hobbying a lot more difficult.  I now mostly need to do the basing and find somewhere to set up my airbrush to get them primed.

It’s progress. so, to quote the green guy  “I see this as an absolute win”

Even slower progress :(

This may not look like these are from the two player box set, BUT…You’d be right!!! These are some models I had to hand that I could start painting or assembling. Long Tree is pretty much just base coated at the moment. Can I count this as progress?

EXCUSE TIME!!!!

My endeavours to set up my air brush to prime the models was a success. Right up until I got it all set up to find that my airbrush that came with the compressor did not survive the move. the Nozzle broke inside the thread of the airbrush when I attempted to dismantle it for a cleaning.

So, Now I’m on the hunt for a new Budget Airbrush. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be awesome.

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and all that. I was very fortunate to get a new Airbrush for Christmas. so, hopefully I'll be able to get to use it in the next couple of days to prime the Two player starter set models. While That's waiting to happen I've grabbed one of the models I had already primed. It's just mostly base colours for now, but I currently only have the standard room light to work with, so don't want to push my luck with finer details till I've sorted a decent light.I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and all that. Today I was able to get most of the models from the starter set primed. Hopefully tomorrow I can Zenithal and lay some base colours down. I must say Having a decent Airbrush makes it so much easier and more enjoyable experience.

Getting somewhere now.

I managed to get some colours laid down with the airbrush the other day and today I have started a test model to see if I could manage a scheme I liked. still much to do on it, but I think it’s getting there.

On Wednesday I was able to Demo Wild West Exodus at The Gaming club I attend. It was a bit nerve wracking as it was my first time demoing as a Warhost and my first game of 3rd Edition, but the one I showed the game to had a lot of fun and picked it up really quickly.
