I've dug out the Terminator miniature game with the hope of bringing it back to life.

What we really wanted
The River Horse game isn't bad it's just the wrong movie license. After terminator 2 there's not worth watching in the franchise. I wanted a miniature game based on the future war of 2029 that we see in those first two movies when things looked rough and no one was wearing plastic armour. 
I got hold of the old pegasus model HK kit that I've had for some time and hit it with some chrome paint. The real inspiration for this project was the Terminator resistance video game which is low budget but captured the feel of the original movies
No plastic armour here Rebasing
I've started by improving the basing of these old minis but I want to find some minis that I like more All the original minis sorted
All my terminator minis have had some true metal aluminum put in them to make them extra shiny 
Cannon fodder conversions
Using some left overs from Wargames Atlantics cannon fodder box I have made some resistance fighters. I chopped down the ladgun barrel and added the scope for a more phased plasma rifle feel. I also used backpacks from my WW1 French kits
Hasslfree minis
I had a look at the hasslefree range for bear future fighters that I thought might also fit as resistance fighters. Especially command minis as a stand in John Connor 
Home made terminator
I wasn't impressed with the official infiltrator terminator so I've made one using a mantic walker and some leftover bits from the hassle free minis. 
Skynet facility
I was given this weird bit of plastic used to display star wars figures with little tabs for the shoes. I couldn't find a use for it so I've combined it with some mantic terrain to create a skynet base

I've put together some more human fighters but this time using stargrave merc bodies with cannon fodder heads from Wargames Atlantic. They blend I well with my previous experiments 
Slap dash vehicles
In the resistance video game they recreate faithfully the underground base Reese enters and passers this buggy. I don't want my fighters in tanks. I want them doing hitvand run missions in salvaged vehicles. 
I got the buggy from crooked dice along with some scatter terrain. I swapped the head and stuck on a gun from my bits box 
Remembering the survivors in terminator staring at the dead TV made me also pick up these bits
Gun turret and pylon
Scratch built laser turret. I picked up a piece of terrain from Wargames model mods who do a lot of buildings with integrated lights. I never had an excuse to get one until now as a skynet node of some sort. A simple kit and inexpensive 
All done
I think that wraps up this project. I've no plans to get anything else. Usually my spring clean projects keep going but this one can count as completed. I'll leave it with some shots of my work ne
