About the Project

After a long time of painting a lot of different big planes little planes, I thought I would make a project for them. It will include mostly historical stuff but also some sci fi and who knows.... maybe other gender.

rewatching the movie when I was sick actually made me want to paint the models I bought recently. So here they are!

White undercoat.

First coat of Ammo Mig FS36375 Light Compass Grey

As it was too light to my liking I did a couple of Ammo Mig  FS 36320 Dark Compass Grey but it is less Dark blue than it looked still it looked better.

All over Ammo Mig  Glossy Lucky Varnish

Put on the 4 decals, spot of Ammo Mig  Glossy Lucky Varnish to seal in the decals.

Ammo Mig  PLW Deep Grey for the panels which I did more than just the aileron and flaps to give it more structure and readability on the table top (please remember it is 1/600)

Cockpit
Vallejo German Grey 995

Vallejo London grey 836 for the highlights

Jet engines

Vallejo German Grey 995

Citadel led belcher

Wings and jet engines

Ammo Mig Oil brusher Black 3500

then touch up with a small brush and enamel odourless thinner

over all Ammo Mig Ultra Matt lucky varnish

And tada. quite happy with them

So here is a bit of an intro for this project.

I have been painting 1/285, 1/600, 1/200 planes for the longest of time. and I thought in order to re-motivate me to keep going I should open a project. so here it is!

The title has been heavily inspired by a certain tune from a great Band 😉
